Oh Lordy, that is alot of money.

That is also the jackpot for tonight's Euro Lottery.

Fair enough, you've got about as much chance of winning as you have bring run over by a bus, twice, but come on!

Isn't it something like a 1 in 72 million chance? I like how the more money available, the more people play. The standard few million just isn't enough :(

Believe it or not but I would hate to win the £85 million. Sure it makes life easier and no worries about work forever but it changes you. You lose the things you love and there is no fun in life anymore. Nah a couple of grand would do me and I'd be happy :D

No but,

you do have to pay on interest (1mil every couple of month) and anyone you give to will be liable for CG at 40% unless you box clever.

lol,

the irony is that I bet you would get offerd a bottle of champs and a chat with the FA's.

Me, I'd think I'd say, yeah fine, but transfer the cash first please, dont want to miss out on any of that interest.

Once established I woul;d 100% set up a vesting trust so that once a year every year myself or a relative could go somwhere spend a wad and help build a school, buy some computers or something. I think you would need to do something like that to keep you grounded.

the first thing i would do is bank my cash in the same place the goverment does. its known that the goverment move billions around each year and i would follow them. at least you know where they put their money is safe. and then i could live off the interest alone, but i would have to say lots and lots of charity after all what would i need all that money for. i would still work though i would get board after i had visited all the world brought my multi million super home and got my BMW X5. LOL

Yep, one and the same. You're totally correct, it is disgusting - but it's under review. Hopefully, the public purse will be saved.

Bit aggressive, Jayne. There's nothing wrong with racing cars around your backyard and wrecking them; it's just that most of us don't have the acreage to be able to do it. I mean, he is supporting the motor and oil industries, not to mention keeping the price of gold inflated.

He can't help it if he's missed his calling in life. I can't help but wonder if he'd actually make a good baker?
Cheers, Nigel
