    I need to send a 2.5gb file to someone. The file can't be split or zipped.

    Many of the free services are limited to 2GB and the 5GB ones appear to be pretty unreliable, as I keep getting timeouts.

    Does anyone have an FTP site that I could use to upload/download the fiile, please?

    Only need the space for half a day or so.

    If you and he both have hosting accounts, even if they're with different providers, you can use the command prompt to transfer that whole 5GB in a couple of minutes.

    Huh... really... I never heard of that. Command prompt "copy" command?

    For files that big I don't even use windows FTP. Use FileZilla or firefox (download only). But I generally use the hosting FTP site.

    So, uh... can you tell me how to do that via windows command prompt?
