Anyone tried the Dynamics solution yet?

I had a look and it appears quite promising. Full stock control/crm/cms etc integrated with all other MS apps and their are several ecommerce bolt on available.

The idea of typical MS ease of use (drag and drop for moving products betwee categories...) bolted on to a powerful back end system sounds attractive.

The reality is that most of the web software we use is develloped on relatively tiny budgets, a single all singing solution could be very good...

To get me up to speed and see whether it is worth a look what sort of ££ does it all cost

Not sure! Thats one of the many questions I have myself. I noticed they have banners all over these forums currently, guess MS thinks there are reasons we will want it...

It's about £800 per seat, plus the server and SQL Server and CAL license costs. £1,000 per user would be a good estimate. Then you have the customisation costs. I work for a Dynamics CRM customisation specialist so I know it is expensive, but when done properly there is no comparison.

By per user do you mean the number of users that can be logged in at one time per business, or the number of businesses/operations etc?

Do you offer ecommerce tie ins at your place? We are seriously looking for a pretty powerful solution for our entire online/offline retail operation, stock control, catalogue managment...

And we have a realistic budget so don't be too shy if you think you could offer some help ;)
