How often do you have to travel in the UK for business reasons. Do you spend too much time wasted on the road? Are you fatigued when you get there? And do you have to organised overnight accomodation to be fresh for the next days meeting?
Your thoughts and please join in the poll.
Thanks

Hi,

I've never had to travel far for business, if at all. I would use my car for short journeys and any of the above, depending where I was going for longer ones:D

I don't do a lot of business travelling either as I work virtually. However I love driving and for journies under two hours I would drive myself. For longer journies I would use the train.

Wanted to vote for two options but was forced to choose one. I usually use a car for long journeys and train for shorter ones.

Havent thought about using a helicopter ;)

I'm a little different because I now visit Britain as an international business traveller from overseas. If my meetings are in London, I take the train and a taxi. When visiting family in Cornwall, I used to rent a car at the airport. With the advent of the Gatwick Express and the Heathrow Express, I now take the train (which is a lot more reliable than it used to be).

I would love to fly between cities, but Britain is not set up for flying. Few airports are linked to the rail system, for example; flights are so few and far between and horrendously expensive.
