How do I recruit beauty consultants in England?

Hi I am new to the forum (and loving everything I read here by the way!!!) and I am interested in building a beauty consultant network within England. I need information as to how I can get the word out via the internet and other sources to make my opportunity known there in England (I am in the US).

All ideas and sources will be greatly appreciated! Check out my site at

go to yell.com and type in those phrases that they are likely to fall under.
then either call them or email them, i'd suggest a call, its not expensive from US to UK.

FOLLOW THE CALL WITH AN EMAIL IF THERE IS INTEREST.

Try getting in touch with beauty schools and asking if they'd mind putting up a poster on the noticeboard. Students often pass the word around.

Like Claire said, try trade journals as they'd probably be happy to print a small news piece. Also try contacting big cosmetics companies to see if they have internal communications (i.e. newsletters and magazines circulated among the consultants) to see if they'd be interested too.

Websites like buycosmetics.com might be interested in putting a link up for you too.

Oh, and try getting in touch with wholesalers and distributors for hair and beauty products. I only know of one but I expect if you trawled through yell.com you'd find loads!

Hope that helps.

Telesales works well for this.

We did a project for Fresh Tan ( also known as fantasy tan) and sold them the first box of sprays at a discount an then called a few weeks later to get repeat orders before we handed the new customer over to our client to manage.

If you need to know the cost per sale, call ratios etc I will ask our client if we can pass on the call data.

I am interested in recruiting from all over England, Wales, Scotland. I was told that these cosmetics sold well in other countries outside of the United States and I am interested in recruiting a network of independent consultants outside of the US.

And you know England is a good first start because we do afterall speak the same(or similar :) language *lol*
