Google base ( UK ) question

I notice that when adding a feed to google base in the UK, it only gives and option for country and the feed name, but in the USA they also give an option for type of product. Is this the reason why UK feeds rank so poorly?

Why are many USA feeds populating the UK product search results? Isn't that very confusing for UK buyers? Can anyone tell me how to contact Google Product Search for UK besides the Google Base Forums? Cheers!

It's still froogle for the UK rather than google base
Submit to froogle and you can get all the information you need to into it i.e product type, category, RRP etc.

Hello, how can I access froogle? I tried and it shows only google base for UK. how can I submit to froogle? Cheers!

As far as I was aware it's just Google Base in the UK.

And good luck in directly contacting Google - they are notorious at not entering one-on-one communication with business owners for any reason whatsoever

Yup you were right it is now google base, I just think of it still being froogle

URL I use to go the merchant center is
http://www.google.com/merchants/adbd

My Ecommerce backend automatically submits with all the relevant fields to it so rarely do I actually go the merchant center (apart from looking up stats)

Do you mean the product_type attribute?

If so you can still use it with UK Google Base / Merchant Center:
