I'm thinking of getting some flyers printed and going around car parks to put it on car's windscreen. Is this legal? If not what is the right way to do it?

Sometimes it's legal and sometimes it's not, depending on the carpark regulations, and the local bylaws.
It is however always an excellent way of pissing off customers who strongly dislike a) junk being left on their cars, and b) the litter caused when people throw this junk to the ground.
Avoidable.

You might get a load of people annoyed by leaflets being put on their car and being accused of breaking their wipers, or your flyers being thrown on the ground and then being accused of littering and maybe being fined.
Best methods for distributing flyers in
1. handing them directly out to people, shopping centres, or on the street
2. Door to door delivery
3. leaving them in local businesses and so word spreads
4. putting copies up in local shops, noticeboards
5. leaving copies in waiting rooms
6. swapping promo material with another shop, you give out their offers and they hand out yours

I think i only mentioned it here twice. Do you think I'm spamming it with that online shop?!!!???!!!!!???!!!!
If you don't cite an example you get lambasted but not being specific. You mention something similar and you get accused of something else!?!!??!
I'm not going to mention a different one each time I try and cite an example. That's free advertising for all of them!!!???!!!!

flyers on cars, doubt its very effective...
try uni campuses, get permission from the uni, or stay in a sneaky publically owned road next to campus, gives you a chance to chat and interface with people, talk about the website, get feedback.
and if its like iwoot then students are a great market for you!
