Holly Hobbie sticker album with 1 pack of stickers!

Totally crap as each pack to fill it cost me 5p and no-one else had been given one so I couldnt even swap my spares!

Tragic

Stretch Armstrong..me and my sister only had it one day and stretched it that much, we split it and all the glue stuff came out on my Mother's carpet...Oh, we we're in trouble. Plus it was a crap toy

lol@ stretch armstrong. My son was given one of those and said 'Mum this doesn't stretch far' which it didn't until drink induced adults later played tug of war with it.

Needless to say Armstrong had never been stretched so much in his life and just gave up and exploded!

As a kid I came down stairs unexpectedly and found my Auntie showing off a hideous knitted dolly to my Mum. I narrowly escaped receiving it for Christmas by exclaiming ,"Uggh, what's that horrible thing? I hate dollies,"

Also ..
Did you ever want something expensive so badly you could burst, but then were given a cheaper alternative? Wasn't that the pits?

I wanted a soft toy cat dressed up as a soldier but was given a crumby alternative cheapo cat. I still have that cheap skate kitty and it reminds me of the bitter disappointment every time I see it.

Kids are so ungrateful.

I usually visit london at xmas, its where i am from.

My mother is a dear, ex district nursing sister. With an eye for a bargain.
Every visit i come home from london with a full boot. They are hoarders you see (mum lives with sister) and half the stuff though grand in theory it nexer works.

Was given a radio controlled kitchen clock. Lovely stuff. Did not work.!
A double blow up bed, minus the plug!
A 24hr Kettle, It leaked!
Lovely orintental dishaes, wife loved them. The broke in box.

And the list simply goes on. Its not that i am not greatful, but i do not feel right thowing away gifts i have been given by my mother and sister. but u see they get it all dirt cheap. Then wonder why it never works.

As for my Best Pressie, that has to be the PDA from my wife. For a time could not get it to sync with pc, not it does. Would not be without it :)
Then there is the radio controlled watch also bought by my wife. Never loses time.
Notebook computer from mother this year though. This one works as i bought it, she paid for it!

All good fun
