Hi there, I am just charging up my ipod and it is flashing the do not disconnect message at me. It does not normally do this when it's charging - well at least I think it doesn't. I have just uploaded some new stuff (a surprise for my husband) and I hope I have not 'messed it up' so if there are any ipod peep out there - please help! Thanks

Hi

Try going to :

http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/

and downloading the lastest upgrade (17th Nov 05).

Although I know nothing about Ipods, my son does. Any other questions or probs please feel free to contact me (for another 30 mins til he goes out!)

I knew I find a reason for having children one day....

Every time I'm given the option to download that latest version of iTunes I always say no. It took me long enough getting to grips with the current version and I haven't the patience to go through it all again - my iPod is fine as it is thanks.

iPods are quite good although I've had to return one when it died on me. :(

The software however is utter garbage.

I went shopping today for my xmas present and all the Ipods were gone! I've heard Apple have fantastic customer support so I'd get in touch with them for help! Just give it a good smack and it'll be fine in no time!

Coming from a person who has "Mac" in their username, I will tell you that Apple's customer support is absolutely awful.

I was sent the wrong item 4 times in a row when my charger broke. It took 28 days for them to get me the right item.

If something by Apple breaks, it's cheaper to buy it again than spending all that time on the phone to them. Luckily their computers are absolutely astonishing and last forever.

Until you spill your drink on it. Then it dies. Really quickly.

Hmmm depends! My dad took PC World to court because they kept messing us about with out 1st computer! Well he threatened to take them to court and they backed down straight away! Then again, some people have had absolutly no problems with PC World. Varies from customer to customer!

I just bought an Video iPod today, and wheres all the videos to download?? I went on to iTunes and found loads of music videos (which I can watch on MTV!) and some Pixel animations - I thought Apple had signed up with a few media companies to provide users with television shows :(

They have signed up with disney to make all their films compatible with the iPod Video, but this is only available in the states at the moment and should be over here in the UK middle of next year.

Well perhaps Apple aren't as good as I first thought... What's the point in buying their video ipods when you can't get any videos off them? There's not really any way of downloading them these days without breaking the law! However, try Limewire or WinMx, they're a peer to peer sharing network so it's all legal! Just make sure you've got a good Adware remover!
