New Website - Opinions Welcome

Just finished my latest site to promote translation.

This one targets the English-Polish language pair.

Would be glad to hear any comments, good or bad, on the look and feel of the site as well as the general design.

Howdy,

I like the background colour, but feel it's quite empty. I also don't like that Flash in the top-left, as it makes me read it then want to leave the website. I don't mean that because it's bad (although I don't think it's great), but because it's lost my attention and I want to move onto something else quicker.

I have to scroll down to start reading the text, so it means you're taking even longer to grab my attention.

Just some initial feedback

I think it's the relaxing green colour, I love it.

Tom, thanks for your comments. I appreciate what you are saying, but anyone who decides that they can't be bothered to scroll down and read the whole page is not the sort of client we want to chase anyway.

If it keeps away the tyre-kickers then that is a bonus.

Hi JB.

I reckon it's great. Just as a matter of interest, do Poles speak Russian?

So, in order to clarify the procedure we use the simple formula of charging customers a set price for each English word which is to be translated into Russian. (Price/Source Word)

Or am I not as 'multilingual' as your learned self :wink: ?
