Registering all the EU domains?

I believe there are restrictions in registering a number of European tld's. I'm sure in France for example you have to have residence or a company in France and this might be similar for a lot of countries.
There does seem to be companies like http://www.europeregistry.com/ offering European domains but I would check the underlying rules before using them.

You can't.
In Ireland, for example, you have to produce an official document from the Irish Companies Registration Office to prove your entitlement to the domain name before you're allowed to register it. The UK is very lax about domains, other countries are not.
