T & C (not website)

Hi all,


I see there is a T & C topic just below but that is for a website so I thought it best to start a new one rather than but in :)

It has been suggested in my other posts by various members that I ought to get myself some terms and conditions. My business is pc repairs, often onsite, but also in the shop. What I (think) I basically need is one set of T & C for the shop, another for on site, nothing special, but something like:

Not responsible for data loss, not responsible for your computers, in fact, not really responsible for anything, so if something goes wrong, you agree that I am not to blame. Please sign here......

Now of course I cant put that ! i have searched the forums here and found a couple of links but they go on about B2B or B2C, sale of goods etc and I have no clue about all that stuff. Would I be better going to see a solicitor for this? what sort of cost am I looking at? is there anyone on here that deals with such things that may be able to help?

If you wait a bit, you'll probably get some great help on here, sometimes takes a couple of days to get a good answer (the right help) :D

One set of T&C will be sufficient to cover your business as a whole, whether in a shop or office etc.
