If a technology came along which gives you an interactive e-brochure would you be wary of the product if you had to install a reader first?

Please give details of your reasons please.

Thanks in advance

well this is a different brochure that is like an actual paper based brochure but used interactively.

Each click turns the page for it.

good use of images and text also. We have had a few clients from it already but we havent marketed it yet.

I personally don't like having to instal things on my PC, and it's really down to laziness/impatience. If I'm browsing the web for information I want it NOW, not only once I've downloaded and installed a new programme.

I'm also running out of space on my hard drive at the moment, so will only install something if I really need it. That said, if the sales pitch for your brochure is compelling enough to convince me that I do really need it, I coud be persuaded :)

The company that I work for, one of our IT guys produced something along those lines using a package that is on the market right nowm, however we spent some time and money and made a flash based on that we put on a CDrom which allowed us to use video and sound. I think it was done in flash. Anyway we got much more exposure through it because there weren't any files to install.
