Unhappy
Royal Mail Delays

Not the best of weeks for us, first sagepay went down and now we are getting plenty of late delivery enquiries because of the Royal Mail Industrial Action. Anyone else noticing this?

The CWU workers are working the action on a postcode basis. Some postcodes being targeted more frequently than others. Basically, most of the post is stuffed one way or another if you mail out to all UK.

Most of the London delivery and collection offices have been subject to action most days for the last week.

Royal Mail staff will be taking industrial action in London on Wednesday 9th September 2009. A limited delivery and collection service will be in place. The affected postcodes are as follows: N, NW, E, SE, SW, WC, EC & W

Royal Mail will continue where possible to deliver and collect Special Delivery items.

We've had so many customers say their orders haven't arrived recently. Our DSR's for dispatch time has dropped massively as a result.

Are you located in an area where the delivery centre has been subjected to action?

We're in the Midlands.

We post all orders before 4pm same day and any orders after the next day, Mon - Fri, without fail. Everything goes 1st Class too. So we don't hang around posting orders. Which makes postal strikes/ delays the only thing I can put it down to as we've never had these kind of numbers before. We've had a couple of neutral feedbacks stating 'slow delivery' too.
