Advice for buying business

I'm contemplating buying an established local business and would like advice on the processes I should be going through. I need to speak to an accountant for advice on tax/sole trader/ltd options etc so can anyone recommend an east London Accountant.
 
Lee, I am on the Herts/Essex border, and would be delighted to discuss your needs (I've PM'd my details). Business acquisitions/sales are something I am advising an awful lot about these days.

Process - depends really, are we talking a listed company or a small family-run company? Have you made an informal approach? Are they profitable? Do they know you?
