Hi, we have been fairly successful at selling ICT & AV products into schools but we need to develop more and faster. If anyone has any advice I would be very grateful. I know this is probably a wide ranging issue, if anyone has views on how I could redifine this as a question please come back to me.

Many thanks.... in advance.

    It might be better to give people a bit more detail;

    1. What sort of schools?

    2. In which areas can you offer the service?

    3. Are you asking for ideas to help you market your company?

    4. If so, indicate what you have already done and whether you have a budget for marketing/PR/advertising?

    Hope the op does`nt mind me joining in.

    I am also looking at ways to advertise our photography service to local primary schools (within 25 miles initially).

    We have a USP which means we can offer as good a service as other photographers but at a lower cost to parents.

    We believe (hope) that if we could get as far as explaining our service to the school and how we are different, we would have a reasonable chance of getting their business, just need to come up with a way in.

    tried a few cold calls but as soon as we mention photography, get told they already have that covered etc.

    I know a lot of post hits a school daily so sending anything by post would have to be different or it would get lost. Ideally would want to send something into school, followed up by a phone call.

    Any ideas, suggestions would be welcome.
