Hi,

I run two established internet pharmacy websites linked to two bricks and mortar pharmacies. www DOT carterschemist DOT com and www DOT douglaspharmacy DOT com. As you can see they are not well developed, they make about £8 a week each from adsense via natural traffic.

I would be willing to negotiate equity in these sites if anyone is willing to help monetize them. This could involve creating an online shop, an information site etc.

Any takers?

im gonna make you an offer, but your valuation is way off.

i'd want 50% initially, on the condition the site makes the adsense claims you say (£8pcw) at which point i will be prepared to lower my equity 5% per month until we reach 30% stake.

I don't think there is any mileage in this for you tbh?
I could register 2 domains ending in chemist and knock-up 2 sites like that in a couple of hours. The cost would be less than £20 and any revenue I generated would be all mine.

I'd suggest you take the easy adsense money and develop yourself when you have the time?

Ahh yes, you could indeed. But there would be a few attributes you would miss:

1. You do not have a bricks and mortar pharmacy and therefore, could not sell certain Pharmacy only items. Also you could not offer certain services such as accepting prescriptions and the numerous government sponsored schemes in the UK.
2. Certification - the RPSGB requires a registration number for all UK based online pharmacies - I have two.
3. A pharmacist - I am a qualified registered pharmacist who would be willing to add my expertise and knowledge to the site. I also own the copyright on a few health/pharmacy related sites which could add a considerable amount of content.
4. Traffic - as these are bricks and mortar pharmacies the site already has natural traffic from people looking for phone numbers and service information.

I could work as an affiliate for lloyds pharmacy and countless others if that is what I wanted to do in the way I described?

It may have long term value to you, I'm not saying otherwise, which is why I suggested you develop it yourself.

This is a good opportunity for a good SEO/SEM .The OP is suggesting selling his products direct to the public.e.t.c.

As far as I know the markup on these types of products is quit good.

If I was not so busy I would have a punt at what I consider to be an excellent Proposition.
