The company address on some of the payroll forms submitted by my current accountants is wrong (they had put our old company address). When I told them they said it doesn't matter as HMRC looks at Companies House for the correct address and will link it to whatever address is listed there. I did phone the VAT, CT and PAYE/NI to tell them of the new address but I am worried they may still have the old address because of the accountants mistake.
Are the accountants correct in stating that the company address will always be considered the one at Companies House by HMRC?
Also, at present my current accountants submit all my payroll forms for me. I asked them to correct a mistake and they are being very hesitant in sending me a copy of the amended form that they say they have resubmitted. Is it possible for me to get access via the HMRC online filing system to see what my accountants have submitted and if I register for this, does it mean that my accountants will no longer be able to access/file on my behalf (i.e can both an agent (accountants) and individuals (myself) have access to online filing at the same time?)
