New website - would appreciate feedback

umm .. is it me or does the concept look a bit like the million dollar pixel site?

Just a little...though this is a but cheaper.

Easy what's your unique selling point here.

I'm no expert but what's happening here is people are buying into the hype of sites like million pixel etc, they don't look great nor do they really make your site stand out.

Tell us a but more about yourself Easy.

If you want to be clever and convince people your website is becoming a big hit you are going to have to remove the (Hit counter) from your website.

get people thinking you got thousands viewing your website. Make them believe there company will be seen by endless viewers.

I also see you only have 3 cubes filled in. why not start off with letting the first 25 customers on your website free. Then people who visit will see that you are making alot of business and if all them businesses are advertising with you they will think yea I will give it a try.

I suppose there is a similarity with million dollar home page in that it is advertising, but thats about all. Here you at least get an advert you can see!

You also get a guarenteed listing in Google, and we all know that links to web sites improve ranking.

The unique selling point? That would have to be the link with http://www.earthsclimate.com, the fact that $5 goes to charity, and that advertisers are showing themselves to be "green".

Well, why not, if it helps to get things going. The first 20 people to e-mail their 100x100 pixel design get a free listing on earthsclimate.com, plus the advert for 6 months (longer if it doesn't take off!)

Or just e-mail me your site details and I'll design the ad for you - Christmas has come early.

Crikey - if the e-mails that are landing thick and fast in my mail box were all paying customers I'd be a happy chappy indeed!

Getting into Google is easy when you know how. I can usually get a site listed in 5 days max.

It is easy, and I don't doubt that you can USUALLY get a site listed in 5 days max.

It's just that you say you GUARANTEE it. Noone can guarantee a site will get listed in google. Except perhaps google themselves.

Just a few questions.

Are you from america as the paypal payment is in dollars.

Why is it when you go to the payment page it states that the payment is for $104

And lastly I would like to know how you manage to get a site listed on google within 5 days of submission when there are over 1 million websites being added every month.

If you can do this then I would like to get some sites listed as well.

OK - no, I'm not from the states but I would like to get the US market, and dollars seems to be the biggest currency on the net. If this puts off UK customers, I will have to have a rethink.

The price of $104 is simply to give a headline amount of "$2 per week".

Paypal will convert this to any currency you like - its £61.23 at the moment. VAT is added for UK residents.

Regarding Google - I have not failed yet to get a site listed. I ask people to give me 28 days, but it usually takes 5. Forgive me if I don't explain how it's done!

Of course, getting listed is one thing, but getting ranked up top with the right search criteria is another. This involves making sure a site is optimised for Google. I will gladly advise anyone who signs up on how to do this.

No problem. It's just that a lot of people will realise that this is a claim that can't actually be fulfilled 100% of the time (regardless of your success rate to date) and as such disregard the rest of your offering. I think making this claim distracts from what you are actually doing with the site. Also as you point out yourself, getting it listed (ie, in the index) is one thing, but not of much use if they only come up for their company name or URL.

I wouldnt mind knowing your background as I have been running a web development company for three years now and would be keen to know how you manage to do this.

I deal with many large high profile search engine optimisation companies and even they cannot manage to do this.

If you let me know your secret I may be able to give you some business.

I don't see why it can't be done 100% of the time. It's Googles task to list websites - they actually want to list your site, you just have to know how to get it to them right.

As for listings, that depends on the site itself, but legitimate sites will be listed based on what they say.

My site was listed on Google in under a day, it's not hard to get listed, your right they will even pick up on old ebay listings when you sold your dads golf clubs to make a quick pound or too.

The issue is not getting listed, it;s getting found.

Type in Claire Mackaness and you get me for the first 3 pages.

Type in Contemporary artist essex and you need to go to 4 pages before you find me through a directory link and then another 8 before you actually find me.

Personally I only ever look at the first two pages before choosing a new search criteria

Regarding your site, I bet you $104 (plus VAT!) I could get your site to come up in the first page of a Google search for "contemporary artist essex".

Now there's a challenge. If your interested, pay at takemebaby.com and e-mail me the user name and password so that I can make some subtle, hardly noticeable, changes to your site.

If I fail after 28 days, I'll repay you in full.

Thanks for the offer, but I have no disposable funds for business outlay, I'll keep it in mind though.

And before you say it I know that once I'm on page 1 I'll get more business and increase sales, but I'm afraid its a catch 22 situation at the moment.
