I just wondered what percentage of your waking hours are spent staring at a PC monitor?
I seem to spend an extraordinary amount of time. At the moment I'm doing a lot of research for my forthcoming business and most of it seems to be via the internet.
But aside from that I'm looking for a house so, again, it seems that 85% of the necessary work to do that is done on the pc. In fact it seems that most things involve alot of pc gazing.
Does anyone else find this or am I making the mistake of hiding behind the pc and perhaps in need of trying to find more of a balance between that and 'field' work.
Sometimes it really wipes me out physically. I find it hard to take a break every 20 minutes because I just get engrossed.
Several weeks back I actually found I couldn't face the thought of sitting down in front of it and logging on and this lasted for about 3 weeks until I just forced myself.
Does anyone relate to this?
