    I am Sumeet. I am a doctor in the NHS and have set up a web development company which I run from home part time.

    Computer programming has always been a hobby and I decided to try and convert this into an alternate source of income which may allow me to retire early and spend more time with the family.

    I started out by developing web sites for colleagues for free. The pleasure I got from doing these sites and their popularity made the decision for me.

    I have been looking for a UK centric business forum for a while and finally stumbled across this today. I hope to be able to make a positive contribution to the forum and learn from the wealth of experience that other members have.

    That's funny - I am a Web Developer who has stated a side business as a Doctor ( unqualified ).

    I am offering laser eye surgery at £7.50 a time using my laser pen and my Swiss army knife ( sterilised with Brobat naturally ).

    Your CynicalDoctor site reminds me of an eye test chart!! Are you sure you're not an optician?? :lol:

    I didn't know NHS doctors had spare time either!! Glad to hear that you have! :)
