Hello Everyone

Hi everyone, we are a new company trading within the IT sector.
Any networking opportunity such as this is extremeley welcome, as all comments and suggestions are welcome.
I started the business due to ill health in so much as I need to take time out each day and there is no employer that i know of that would allow that. especially as i cannot give a time when i need it. I was previously employed by blue chip companies in Production Management. I thought I did a lot of hours then!!
Our e-commerce website is currently at the midway point of development, and as many of you will know, it can't go on line quick enough.
We are specialising in the eductaion market with PC's, Laptops, peripherals and accessories. As with every new business it is hard work, but we feel it is the right way to go.
We are also members of Bolton Business Support Unit which was set up to help new businesses within their first 2 years of trading. If there is a similar scheme within your area I strongly suggest anyone looks at joining it. All the advice is free from experts within each field.

There, i've rambled on a bit, thanks once again for allowing me to introduce ourselves to all.
Happy trading everyone

I like ringing suppliers on a Thursday morning and asking for someone by saying it's David from Camelot. Do you know, even if they are on another line or busy elsewhere, they always come on the line within seconds. This happens every week, and with the same suppliers.
Camelot came about in a strange way because my wife call me Grumbledores (Dumbledores - Harry Potter) She thought it was a good connection, plus we used to sell on eBay under grumbledores.
Women!!
And I still get called it. Even by my grown up kids!!

There is a down side. I used to work for Royal & SunAlliance and when ever you went to a trade show with a name badge that showed the company name you cant move for all those promo girls just stopping you and giving you free stuff because you work for a 'blue chip'. Life can be cruel.
