Shopping.com

I have been approached by Shopping.com (UK version) and wondered whether anyone here has used them?

They were like Froogle apparently, however, you pay CPC and I am not sure whether it is a good idea or not.

Any view?

Well they get a lot of traffic, so I guess it would depend on how well that traffic converts into sales and wether you can make a decent profit from it. I think their cost per click is quite high (as are most of the price comparison sites) but then it should be good quality targetted traffic.

You may find this Internet Works article helpful - it compares Shopping.com, Froogle, Pricerunner and other sites from a merchants perspective:

We use shopping.com and it's pretty good for some products, but most of these comparison sites are best for electrical goods. There's no harm in giving it a go though as I think you can set a monthly maximum spend so it would certainly be worth a trial.
