Hello everyone,

I supply printer consumables to businesses and some early market research amongst small businesses has shown that they don't have time to answer our questions!

Of those that did, they were interested in making ordering printer consumables easier.

My Easy Order system is finally complete and ready to allow stationary buyers, receptionists and secretaries to order printer consumables more easily and quickly without the need for catalougue and suprise price changes and codes and form filling - leaving them with more time to spend on more important tasks.

Also all you need to do is to bookmark your page so no need to search all the time for your printer!

What I want is people to take a look at it at and tell me what they think. The example is based on my Accountants needs.

For me to order cartrdges from a website with the minimum of fuss on repeat orders I would expect the following.

Initially to be able to search for the printer make and model and be offered the cartidge number to choose(i.e black, cyan etc and re manufactured or original options)

I would then want the website to remember the printer makes that I have put in so that I can come back easily to that page and be able to choose from MY LIST.

The order should be as simple as clicking on the radio button(s) and confirming the order. This should then go to a payment screen(through a username and password) for payment processing which should already hold my details for a repeat order so that I only have to confirm.

Anything less than that is too much hassle.

Not sure where your system fits into this model.

I have to admit that this is more targeted at those who are not used to the internet, or ordering from it and paying online. My target market is the large number of businesses who havent really embraced the internet as a tool for ordering and managing supplies. Also it is a tool for medium sized companies to manage ordering of printer consumables across departments and offices.

Also those who find online shopping daunting this would bridge the gap and it is not a site with 1000s of products when they only have one printer. I suppose what Im trying to say its that my product and service helps businesses make a transition to online supplies ordering.

I would say there is minimum fuss with my system in that you only have to do this once and then your bookmarked page would be up.

Your preferred method IS my future aim, however at this moment I do not want to spend large sums of money if there is no demand for ANY kind of system.

At the moment after you sign up you do in effect get MY LIST.

Once set up the ordering system is simple as entering the quantity required and then confirming the order as all other personal details are already there.

More feedback please everyone!!!!!!!

I agree with Alan, in that when I order my printer toner and cartridges I like to go to a website which says something like...

Welcome back Richard, same again?

To me the Internet is meant to save time, so a 3 or less click order process is ideal.

Your easy order is close, but I think you need to have the quantity boxes on the first screen. That way I would be able to put quatities in the boxes across the board for all my printers in one go. That should then take me right to the checkout page with my cart displayed at the top. You can then reduce this to a 1 or 2 click order process!

Also, you have "ordered by" and "Deliver to"

why not add a check box if the delivery address is the same as the "ordered by" address

With regards to the addresses, these both would already be prefilled so you would only touch it if you wanted to change it.

I'd say no to paypal - I'd want an invoive and and a VAT number.

Hi webit,

Paypal is only an option. You can order online and not pay (order submitted via email). Or order offline by printing the order form.

You do get an email invoice and a pdf invoice is posted to your email and easy Order invoice area with VAT number and everything soon after.

hey folks,

there is a new version of the Easy Order page - theres is no longer the first page listing details and prices and then separate order forms for each printer. This newer version combines the two listing all the products into the one place. one place, just enter the quantity and then hit send!
