Hi,

Anyone recomend a telephone answerting service, 9am to 6pm, monday to friday that will answer calls and transfer them to our office if someone is available, and if not take a message to be passed on via email.

Thanks,

why not invest in a local based voip pbx system with virtual receptionist. Using this you also get call queueing and have more than just 1 line to run your business from.

Colin from Voipfone will probably add a comment later similar to this.

Using any agency to answer your business' phone is poor show really, its not the first time i've called someone and they prompt the wrong company or sound as vague as a wet blanket. People call you to get a response not just to speak to a guy who knows diddly about you than to send you an email... why pay for that?

I also hate it when you call and they ask who's calling and then ask for full contact details to only then say 'x is not available' when clearly they knew that from the word go...

Virtual receptionist isnt ideal but at least they can choose to speak to a knowledgeable person who cares about their custom.

It can be v. frustrating when you call a company and you know you are talking to a PA service, but they just won't admit it!

If I'm feeling a bit evil, I tell the PA that actually I'm due to meet the person in question shortly and would they mind describing him/ her so I can recognise them. That's always a good laugh as they tie themselves in knots.

I used AllDayPa for years and would strongly recommend avoiding them - I won't list the reasons why since they are a petty and vindictive lot and might come after me again!

Hi VC - I can certainly help you out with this. We operate M-F 8am-8pm but no problem to open the lines for an additional hour. If you'd like more information, please let me know and will happily discuss.
