Seymour Direct-have you used them?

I am looking at getting a virtual terminal via seymour direct, anyone had experiences with them?

I am certainly not keen on the £139 set up fee, £10 per month too, but they seem to have an all in package that is rather reasonable.

I have looked into a couple, just wondering who you use, would recommend?

The Card machines-Can these be an asset? Taking money over the phone via the machine is also an option, it is just a case of "card holder not present", but will tradespeople like this or not?

I ask these questions as I normally meet up and take Cash or Cheque, the personal touch, but i have had four of my advertisers mention "do you want to take card details now?"

Many Thanks.

I have used Seymour Direct for my PDQ machine for very many years. Their rates seem to be the lowest available and the sales lady I recently spoke with for another pdq machine did a great job in getting the machine to me pretty damned quick or should that be PDQ ( sorry about the pun ):)

The best way to test a company is when something goes wrong. Apply here and you will get numerous chasing phone calls until you sign up. The calls I had completely over promised what I could expect to receive. I signed their agreement and then found out the service was not what had been agreed so told them I didn't want to continue they went ahead and deducted my money anyway and when I complained they refused to refund me. They lied about what had been said and I had to threaten the ICO before they backtracked.
AWFUL service BEWARE there are many more choices out there

I ordered a load of till rolls from Seymours web site yesterday and I have just taken delivery & I found out the other day that my charges are going to be reduced even further so I can't fault them.
