Hi,

I am needing to purchase a LTD company and would like to know if this is just bog standard no matter where you purchase a LTD company from. Or should I be careful about purchasing a LTD Company from any Internet site?

Many Thanks

Don't use The Company Warehouse

They charged me for all kinds of stuff I didn't want, took months to get any paperwork through and they never call you back. I paid ~£60 for them to register me for VAT. 9 months on they still haven't done it and won't refund my money, their support line is a premium number so I gave up telephoning them ages ago.

A complete shower of shizzle

All good advice but get yourself hooked up with an accountant sooner rather than later so you have the right foundation in place. When choosing one go on recommendations from people you know. Good luck with the venture

:D You would say that but on the other hand there is no way I would want to form a company without the help of my accountant

If you are purchasing a company that has traded then it's a completely different ball game and you need a solicitor's advice.

If it is just an off-the-shelf company then there are lots of options. Follow the suggestions here or set one up yourself. It's relatively easy.

If there is more than 1 shareholder though then you need to start thinking about getting legal advice re: shareholders agreements, etc.
