Cheapest Parcel Courier to UK from USA for Small quantities

Hi,

I will be importing some lights and just need a few samples at first, so the parcel size will be about 100cmx60cmx50cm and weigh about 40kgs. Can anyone recommend a company to use? Are UPS best?

Will they pass on duty and tax costs to me?
