Question
Help selling my website

I want to sell my website as I am not putting in anywhere near the amount of work that it needs to be profitable. The problem is I have no idea how much it is worth or where to advertise. Can anyone give me any advice?

It is fully functional, linked to a dropshipper that automatically updates my website and no dealing with stock.

It is pretty much impossible to tell you how much the website is worth without knowing key figures such as visitors, items sold, revenues, expenses and the general strategy of the website.

You could try offering it on eBay and set a minimum price.

Best,
Uwe

Yep, you cant get a price on a site based on what it sells and how pretty it is.

Raw figures of how much you DO sell and how much profit you make is a huge part of it.
Also things like potential sales.. can it scale up etc are other metrics

You can check out some of the sites on https://flippa.com/ to give an idea of what it might be worth.

This is by far the best option to get a true idea of how sellable the website is. Keep a look out for other websites like your own as a means to get an idea what it is worth.

There are many websites which help you in selling your website. You have to pay a small amount to them for their services and rest they advertise on their website.

Regards,
Fred

Do you know that there are people called website brokers, who can help you sell your website fro a certain commission. They know many poeple and companies and often it is easier to use them rather than trying to do it your self. Unfortunately I cannot recommend anyone.
Also using sites like sitepoint and flippa will not hurt, however, please do keep in mind that flippa has a term, where you are not allowed to publish the website for sale on any other place, while on flippa.
Oh, almost forget, I have seen sites for sale on eBay. In any case, make sure to provide the essential figures such as visitors, page view, average time on site, bounce rate, seo details etc.
Good luck!
