This is to introduce our company, Quillcards.
Quillcards is a subscription e-card service designed for people who like to send e-cards featuring attractive images and who want to be able to write at length if they wish.
There are lots of e-card sites. There are a lot of poor-quality ones that use fancy backgrounds and cartoons, or surround their e-cards with ads, or use the site as a front to gather email addresses.
Quillcards aims to be a high-quality site where the e-cards feature Flash™ greetings and high-quality photographs - all unique to the site.
One of the features of the service is the appearance of the e-card that the recipient receives, where the photograph and the text are surrounded by a colored background that fills the browser window.
There are no distracting advertisements or banners or anything that lessens the pleasure of looking at the the e-card and reading the message.
And in addition to photographs, we have paired images with quotations on the themes of contemplation, inspiration, romantic love, nature and animals, and the arts.
Subscribers can purchase photographic prints of the images on the site. And if the prints are bought as gifts, they can be mailed directly to the recipient to make things easy and convenient.
Visitors to Quillcards can send free e-cards featuring one of five images that we rotate regularly.
And if visitors they want to see what an e-card looks like to the recipient, they can request a sample e-card.
E-cards can be sent world-wide of course but the site is targeted at the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australasia. Prints can be sent to those countries and some others.
Because the U.S. is the biggest target market, we have used U.S. english throughout the site.
