Hi everyone.
Just joined to see if I can add any useful comments to the various posts which can be found within the forums!
I have many years experience with a UK bank (sorry but must remain nameless) and it will be a pleasure to answer what general questions that I can. My specialised field is commercial banking to the SME market.
Hope to speak and help many poeple in the future.
Martin.

Are we allowed to try to guess the bank?
Welcome to the forum Martin. I am sure your input will be helpful.

Hi Stuart.
Thanks for the welcome. You can try to guess the Bank, I just did not want to take the chance to include it just in case the forum was used inappropriately.
I'll amend it and you can see if you guessed correctly. I'm sure that it will be OK as after all I certainly do a good job and don't have any problems.
Once again, thanks for the welcome.
Martin.

Hi Martin and welcome - good to see a banker here :) A good (and understanding) business banking relationship can be very valuable to a small business and I am sure you will have much to contribute here. Your bank has already gone up in my estimation. :)
Would it be possible for you to ask somebody in your Edinburgh branch to get in contact with me in regard to opening a business account? (pm me)
Mark.
Hi Martin,
I have worked with a number of banks in the past years and found them great fun to work with. Its good to see you here and welcome.

Thanks Richard.
I'm very much looking forward to meeting new people from a wide range of business backgrounds and of course will try and help as much as I can.
Lets hope that I'm as much fun as the previous bankers you've had experience with!
Regards.
