Hi all,

My laptop is playing up so i'm considering either a Toshiba Netbook Vs Webbook on T-Mobile internet. This would be for general web browsing and media playing. The reason I am choosing between these two is because they are £25 per month with unlimited internet (24m contract).

However, i don't know which one! I have included some specs and some links below so please could you take the time to help me out.

Thanks,
Darren

You can buy same spec webbook for about £200, so paying £500 is a bit pricy. Just get your own dongle.

Same with the laptop.

Is it really worth paying twice the price for "free" internet access?

Only buy a netbook if you are going to use it as a netbook and really take advantage of its low weight - long battery life - small size.

Otherwise buy a laptop.

I have both and would never use the netbook in a situation where I could have the lovely laptop with its faster processor and bigger screen and bigger keyboard and internal dvd drive and and and

(Asus 1000h in case you are curious - nice as a netbook)

I bought a netbook for the purposes of working whilst sitting in the park watching children during the school holiday, and for shoving in my handbag, because my laptop does get heavy after a while (I am such a girl!)

But I haven't use it in the house, (except when hubby wanted me to book him a hotel room at 1am, and i couldn't be bothered to get out of bed), mainly because of small keyboard, and the fact that you have to scroll a lot harder to see stuff as most of it is below the fold.
