Hi,

I am working with a charity - and one of the things we are getting sorted out is getting their website enabled to take online donations.

I know I could use worldpay/paypal/netbanx etc etc - but these all charge quite high commision rates and they don't discount for charities.

Has anyone come across an online payment processor that offers a service for registered charities?

The charity is youth 2 youth (http://www.youth2youth.co.uk/)

They do fantastic work ( their website is about to be updated hence my involvment in getting them sorted for online donations).

Thanks for any help!

Andy

There is a website that does this for you - can't remember what it's called unfortunately - but you set up your own page on the website and they collect and process charitable donations for you. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to tell you what it is! :)

I know WorldPay do a deal for charities, have you looked onto that.

Justgiving.com shoudl be perfect for you. We cheekily subsited a friend's donation page behind the BigBrother site and he got an extra £260 pledged in an hour. We just wanted to show the persons at JustGiving that our SubSites solution might be worth while looking at. We've helped Shelter, BeatBullying and MissingPersons in the past few years this way too.

Cheers,
