I want to expand my current database which is made up of professional services (solicitors, accountancy practices, private equity etc) in central London.
I have bought databases online before with mixed results - some of the names/addresses have been up to 3 years out of date
Do you use direct mail as a marketing tool and if so - can you recommend a company that sells quality data that is clean and up to date?
Thanks
Liz

At my "proper" work I have used Marketing File for the last three or four years. I have always found them helpful. Once in a while I get a duff record but talking to them normally gets it resolved. They are also very good at helping me run enquiries when my boss has given me a very brief brief!

As above, at my "proper" job we use a company called Abacus for our B2B direct marketing.

I would be quite interested in the same thing, people who PM'd rather than posting on here could you please do so.
Had a quick look at corpdata, but I didn't see that you could choose business by geographical location (which would be vital for me).

Don't want to do a massive self promote BUT!
We offer uk telephone verified business to business and business to public sector marketing data in addition to consumer marketing data.
We offer email, telephone and postal records for business and additional sms records for consumer marketing.
The lists are all Opt in, checked against preference service records and never more than 14 to 28 days old.
Data can be sorted by location, company type, contact type and any other variables you can think of - with numerous variables for consumer data.
We also offer UKBF members a 25% discount off our standard data prices (does not include any current offers)
I'm not sure what else I can add but if you have any questions please ask!

We resell data for Corp Data and are given a good level of discount due to the data volume we purchase. If people are interested we can also offer advice on your selection criteria and help you avoid common pitfalls.
We use Corp Data because the information is tele research and is as up to date as is possible in an ever changing market.
Please let me know if we can help.
Thank you
James
