I am in the process of setting up a forum for contractors (mainly engineering and safety based) that will provide free access to job and other supporting information. The idea being to remove the 'agency'/advertising markup from these transactions.

Does anyone know of any sites that operate like this currently - most sites I have seen there is some form of payment involved?

Thanks for the feedback - had spotted the IOSH forum and yes it does fit the bill sort of. It seems a bit short-termist in its outlook? I was thinking of something where contractors can better plan/prepare their forward workload and provides a means of keeping in touch (bit like friends reunited - but free!).
