Hello folks, I'm new to the board.
Based in Merseyside, I'm "Drawn2theweb", not least because I'm an illustrator who uses the Web to showcase my portfolio.
The power of the internet has a special significance for me, as I took up my career as an artist following an accident in work which left me unable to work in the "conventional" workplace.
Having made a little headway in the greeings card industry, I'm hoping to eventually find a suitable business partner. So where better to look than a group of serious minded business people?

Hey,
Welcome to the forum. Have you tried selling direct to businesses? Some give cards to their employees or valued clients. You could produce a small leaflet or something to highlight what you do and what occasions you can create cards for, then maybe if they are interested show them a sample of work.
Do you actually just design the cards or make the end product? You could target business people and offer to make personalised cards for special occasions such as birthdays , valentines etc.
Have a nice day

Only specifically to greetings publishers. It would just take too much time, money and effort to sell individual corporate cards.

I produce the designs up to print ready digital files. Even if I could afford the volume printing to produce the end product, I'm not sufficiently mobile to market the finished product. I don't want to undetake anything that will give me less time for designing and take me into activities that cause me further discomfort.
Thanks for your thoughts and comments, Whistle Ink, I appreciate it.
