Why is it so boring?

I have the content for my new brochures to write, a company pension scheme to sort out, a PAYE scheme to move from one company to another, a load of shelf companies to put onto my website, new offices to go and view, two job descriptions to write, a marketing strategy to agree, far too many 288C's 287s and Annual Returns to file and 73 emails in my inbox....but.....

The sun is shining and I can hear my motorbike calling me

What do I do?

Get your work done then go and set fire to the roads! :D

Seize the day. Hit the lanes.

Carpe diem! (after the work, of course)

If you ever want to get that work done you're going to have to treat the "two wheeled baby" as a reward.

Well, that's the motivational nonsense out the way! :)

Hit the road, Jack - it's not like the sun shines that often anyway!

I'm afraid the work horse won and the steel horse didn't even see daylight today :(

Ah but now it is the weekend, let the stallion loose before rain moves in :)

You'll be glad you got the work out of the way first tho.

Well the thing is you see, my wife is booked in to have our second child delivered on the 19th May (first child was an 18 hour labour followed by emergency section, huge blood lose etc so this child is a no option section).

So with it being so close and this silly "nesting hormone" thing means my weekends are spent doing DIY, shopping and all those other boring things that get in the way of fun ;)

Saying that, I'm almost at the end of the list, so by next Sunday I may be able to have an hour or two out on the bike!

Hurrah! :D for the bike of course!

The tyres still grip in the wet and there's a lot less riders on the top roads - probably more cleaning involved afterwards
