I think it depends on your business model :)
If your business is of a corporate "professional" nature then go for the white shirt and suit, otherwise if of a design or "flair" nature then go for bright colours with a more trendy suit. YOU need to reflect your proposition.
Hmm I like.
So, I am a start-up manufacturer with an innovative product - I'm going for a pink shirt with a smart 'corporate' suit! :D
