Hi

I co-run a small theatre company with my partner. We're based in London and specialise in street theatre and corporate theatre, performing at festivals all over the UK during the summer months. We also do some corporate work and have worked for Orange and Microsoft among others. The Microsoft gig was a bit of a star prize really, as they flew us to Rome! We're trying to increase our foothold in the corporate sector, as this ultimately funds the 'art' side of things. We provide costumed characters and set acts for PR and marketing projects, launches, parties, conferences etc and also devise performances for specfic products/events. I'm hoping this forum might be useful in terms of establishing contacts generally and exchanging ideas.

Mmm. Flashers is definitely one of our more risque pieces. I had serious doubts about it in development, but it played very well at the 'Streets of Brighton' Festival and was well received (next festival 13th, 14th May). I overheard a mother saying to her kids 'Come and see the flashers!' and a little girl saying to her mother 'I like the lady best!". 'Course it helps that they're so hairy you can't actually see anything and the surprise element means people are giggling even before anything happens. Works very well on video too.

Just kidding Fanthony, welcome to the forum. Nice to see some artistically orientated businesses on here. Will keep you in mind for future bashes at IBM (can't have Micro$oft on its own).

At least there are no accountants being portrayed on your website (had enough with the Monty Python lampooning) :D
