Good day all,

Once I create the 'traditional dating services company', I want to select members;

Could you pls advise about tests/questionnaires/references I can use before the face to face interview.

Thank you

Hi Jui,

Personally having not built or helped build a Dating Agency myself or had cause to use them (I am lucky - I have nothing against them) I would find this difficult.

There is a lot of competition out there especially from the on line world with even the likes of AOL and Yahoo getting heavily into it.

I am not clear on what your proposition is and therefore how you need to frame the questionnaires etc to confirm a fit with that proposition. Different techniques apply to different groups. Care to expand on your proposition a little? I know you said "and its main target market are french seniors" but you need to expand on this a little. Also, I am not sure that a UK forum is the best place to ask. (When I worked for Kingfisher and we were creating the business propositions for ecommerce for both the UK and France in particular, we did a lot of market research and found that a lot of things that we took for granted and expected to work in the UK would not work in France.)

Given the huge number of online propositions, you could join a few of those and see how they work as a starter for 10. Similarly real world agencies (although a few are very expense to join I believe so your research budget might be a bit stretched). I assume you have some experience of this world or you would not be trying to launch a business based on it.

Ideally, you want to minimise the tests/questionnaires/references so the right people are pretty much self selected and then just need information to support your proposition. For example, if you are focusing on say, self made business people then you will have questions around whether or not they have launched their own business, how many, generate a profit over a certain level, etc. This will be on top of the standard personality stuff (which you can find lists of on the net with a bit of googling).
