I am now at the stage where one person is takingbusiness telephone orders all day constantly, which makes it difficult to return calls as customers are leaving messages to call them back when number is engaged. No sooner do we hang up then anothe rtelephone order comes through. What is the most efficient way to go about this ie another line, number etc

Voipfone is the cheapest and quickest way to get extra phone numbers/lines.

These people are forum members and have a fantastic reputation, I have just opened an account with them - www.voipfone.co.uk

It works over the 'net basically so it won't make any difference. Look around their website or search on here for voip and it will help explain how it all works. Then you can call them and they will help you sort out what you need exactly.

Hi Blush,
We sell a business VoIP service as well, it has a different proposition to voipfone in that it is based on a different platform, has a different pricing model and a different service delivery model with tighter controls on your connectivity. It is an established service provisioned by a leading UK supplier which won 'VoIP solution of the year' with it last year.

I have PM'd you more details.

Simplest is to keep the existing number for inbound and use VoIP to dial out - you don't need a new number if you do that.

We can set the CLI of the new service to be your existing number so your customers will see that it all matches up.

Once your contract is up you could move the number over too if you needed to.

That would cost nothing except for the calls you make - 1p per minute to a landline, 12p to a mobile and a telephone.
