Target Account Selling - Say I want to find some names of executives in company-X

Google this: [company-X agenda 2008]

You'll find executives, name and job title, prob. recently listed, possibly with a presentation on what they're thinking.

Better than purchased data in some cases.

Good for SME's selling to large companies. (of course company blogs / news are good too.)

[Mr Smith Company-X agenda] is good for finding just the thinking. You might find the powerpoint they gave 6 months ago what challenges they face this year.

Get listed Say you want to put your business profile as all the best directories / listings / content sites etc. esp for your industry.

And say you're in the medical market

Google this [medical add URL] or just [medical add]

medical becomes education if you are in the education space.

Websites that let you submit your profile often have the text saying add URL in some way.

Of course everyone should be in these: (a UK focus)

freeIndex.co.uk
uksmallbusinessdirectory.co.uk
bttradespace.com
wecando.biz

thebestof.co.uk can be very powerful at the local level.

Worldwide - dmoz.org (mostly for SEO reasons I think, even that is fading I think.)

Must be more... ??
