Which bit of your business do you hate doing?
Myself I hate delivering the flyers door to door, I know I could pay someone to do it, but money is a bit tight this week (too many bills at once).
So my excuse today was it was raining and the cards would get wet and the printing would run.:D

Myself I hate delivering the flyers door to door,
probably not as much as the homes you are delivering to :D
I get the same old pizza and takeaway leaflets week after week, they go straight in the bin.

I hate marketing. I have a list of contacts in magazines which I was kindly given by someone who knows the right people but I just can't bring myself to ring them up and talk about my business. I've been sitting on this for ages but it's just not my kind of thing.
Anything else I can do but not that!

Have to agree with deniser - I recognise marketing as a personal weakness. Wouldn't say that I don't like it, just that it's a weakness.

It's the specifications I don't like.
I love designing kitchens ... and I know that a list of exactly what's in them is important ... very important ... but I just hate making that list.

Well, I ran out of excuses today, so bit the bullet and went and delivered 250, only another 750 to go. Setting myself a target of 250 per day. If you hate doing it, small steps is the way to go.

The financial book-keeping gubbins. "I've earned X and spent Y so here's a percentage of the difference". Why does it need to be more complicated than that?

Has to be chasing money up. People asking you to design Websites etc and then not paying trying to avoid you. Why cant people just stick to there word and pay you when they say they will.
But i suppose that's business for you.

...Approaching customers who think they don't need my services! That's very annoying, they don't know what's good for them!

Just done another batch of flyers through the door, and now I really hate it ! Got cramp in my leg half way round and had to hobble the rest. Couldn't go home till I had finished them though.

Another vote for clients who don't pay. Despite being on monthly contracts, all invoiced up with clear due dates and a month to pay I'm forever chasing payment come the start of the month.
The past 3 months one companies invoice has been late up to 2 weeks which had a serious impact on my cashflow.
