Hi, i'm in the middle of setting up a business and I need a number that I can easily divert to different numbers throughout the day.

There are quite a few 0845 retailers online so I thought it would be best to ask someone who already has one!

Cheers,

Chris

Hi We do 0845 numbers cost is minimal. It does depend on whether you need one or whether you require an ansaphone service more that will field calls for you and help you to get more custom for your business while you do the work.

We also do very competitive business phone lines with Broadband which are £19.99 per month for both the phone line rental and up to 24mbps for your broadband(that does depend on how near to the telehpone exchange bo you are, but average is around 10mbps. Also cost for calls are 2.5p peak and 0.9p off peak. Works out about 45% cheaper that BT,

Pm me if you would like to know more.

Here is my website to have a look.

Best of luck with your new business

Regards

Avril :)

I agree good value but you are paying 4p a minute during office hours. If you have a large volume of calls... and dont we all want that then you will be paying over the odds. That will cost u mega bucks

Best wishes

Have a look at this http://www.uwdcvideos.co.uk/?exref=189903 then let me know what you think. It lasts about 3 minutes.

Sorry what do you mean 4p per min in office hours??

Its free to land lines and my voip. They would only charge if I diverted to my mobile.

So what are you paying for your service then? Just looked on your website says 4 p per minute doesn't it. sorry if I got it wrong!

Hundreds of companies provide divert services.

Our particular version costs £1.99 per month. Calls that are diverted cost 1p per minute to a landline and 12p to a UK mobile.

We provide 0845 numbers to those that want them but generally advise against them these days as custmers don't like them and often won't call them.

You are far better off with a normal geographic number - and they cost the same.

Don't take a number from any company that doesn't have a porting agreement - that is from a company that won't let you take your number to another company if you want to - that means almost all of them.

Owl, I think you're confused.

The only company obliged by law to port numbers on request is BT. All other arrangements are voluntary - which means that they don't happen because most companies think it's a clever way of keeping customers that want to leave.

So the question is, if I am a Telecom Plus customer and I want to take my telephone number to another company, can I do it and who does Telecom Plus allow me to take it to?

fyi, all 70ish ITSPA members are obliged to port between themselves - the list of members is here:

Good morning CJD, I think you will find that we do allow porting of numbers and for your info Talk Talk and Virgin will also have to allow porting of their numbers shortly. I think this takes effect from Mar 09.

Best wishes

Avril :)
