My Names Senna, I'm seeking sponsorship for my eventing in the region of 150 - 200 pounds per month. But how does that sponsorship benefit you? Jacaranda and I will be appearing at shows every weekend during the peak season (February - October) and every other weekend outside of that, showing off our skills and your business. The audiences can range from about 100 - 300 and that doesn't even include media. I am a very competent horse rider, having competed locally. That means you can guarantee your sponsorship isn't going to a rider that isn't worth the effort. I truly think the benefits speak for themselves, and obviously I would be enormously grateful for the sponsorship and take every opportunity to make it worth your while. This is effectively sports advertising for a fraction of the cost!!! :)

Its not a "hobby" its a sport. I want the money to be able to have my horse. This is just Sports adveritsing except very very cheap ! I Will be doing Affiliated Competitions with approx. 100-300 people depending on the location. Thats not including any media coverage the event may get. Ive been told that i have a trainer which means i COULD show at Windsor Horse Show or some classes in HOYS . Im hoping to go out to Spain to Compete in the Marbella Championships as well. My enthusiasm towards competing means the more i compete the more the business gets advertised. Im still a student by the way.

Some v useful posts there!!!!
Have you spoken to some of the business that probably supply your kit?
The Vets you work for?
Local business person who has an interest in horses?
One thing to remember is that what would I get out of sponsoring you???
Advertising and sponsorship from my perspective would only be of interest if I would see a return on my money.

Have you asked local businesses? Try to contact companies that have an interest in your project.
BTW roi = return on investment (I think that is what he/she referred to)

Eventing is a very expensive and time consuming sport, as eventing isn't part of the Royal Windsor or the Horse of the Year show, which disciplines do you hope to enter and which qualifying events are you going to attend.
Basically how good are you ?

If i qualified for Windsor, i would be doing ShowJumping, as to which class i enter is Unattainable at the moment. If you do well at Windsor you can Qualify for Olympia Horse Show.
In riding school terms i am an Advanced rider which is one below Semi-Pro. Im more advanced than the horse i ride and i can go further however the horse cannot. Im hoping to be able to become affiliated and with the help from my trainer once i have the new horse i will become even better.
