Im about to do a re-design/ re-launch on one of my websites and i was hoping to get some input into the existing version before i do!

the site is supposed to grow into a travel/information site for londoners and tourists

what kind of topics/subjects/ do you think people would find of most interest
e.g. hotels,flight info, events?

and whats is poor about the current design/layout?

First of all, I'm not too fond of variable width websites (but thats just me talking), I find it allows content to look messy, and not the way the designer had intended it to. Aside from that, the layout isn't too bad. It could do with a bit of a cleanup, maybe some snazzier pictures, and a better seperation between sections of content (IE; its slightly difficult to tell at first glance that the theatre names go with the shows listed below them). Aside from this, the areas of information you provide are what most people would probably want to know, maybe with the addition of opening/closing times for various pubs, clubs, restaurants and such.

I think the site has some very useful content but the homepage could do with some re-arranging, maybe some differentation between sections as it is difficult to distinguish between them.

Yeah i agree

The layout of the site could be much better. You should make sure that all the tables and headers etc have uniform look as looking at the site many of the tables and headers do not line up properly

Also i think the login page would be better if it was at the top
