Hi all, i have just found w3schools.com and am thinking of using them as i would like to learn html, php, css etc.
Has anyone else started form scratch using them?

w3schools are excellent but you might find htmldog.com a lot easier.

I use w3schools all the time for quick references. They have good examples etc and the reference lists of commands etc are all very useful.

I also use W3 schools... the thing is that their explanations and examples are so simple that a young teenager could understand them... just right for me then!

I also used them and htmlgoodies when I was completing my degree. They make it easy to understand and give some great examples!

its a good site for learning the basics, but you'll learn more by doing more hands-on examples.
