Those of you who work from home may like to take an early lunchbreak this week and watch some daytime TV! :) [Or set the video/pvr/etc] ..Theres a programme on from Monday to Friday at 11:45 am - 12:15 pm called Mind your own business, which involves "self-made millionaires Mrs S and Duncan Bannatyne" (BBC's words, not mine! And who is Mrs S!?) offering their advice to help a struggling small business to prosper. Sounds a bit like that Sir John Harvey-Jones Troubleshooter thing, although why is it on at 11:45 am! I know that some people have 'views' on Duncan Bannatyne after his Dragon's Den performance; but anyway, might be cr*p or might be an interesting diversion, who knows..thought I would mention it here in case it's of any interest to others. :D

Duly set to record series.
Thanks for letting us know - I'd have missed this. It's been over a year since I worked from home and still miss being able to sit down with a proper lunch and watch Working Lunch.
The office kitchen leaves a lot to be desired and the room we set up as a lounge was infested with wasps last year and no one dares go in there.

I was wondering when this series was going to start. One of my clients is the subject of one of the programmes.
Will be interested to see what they have to say :)

Oh dear. Bit naff wasn't it? I know it's on during the daytime but do they really have to dumb it down to the nth degree!? The 'business troubleshooter' concept has great potential for an entertaining and informative programme, but based on the first programme, this series isn't going to be the one to realise that potential. Oh well, bring back Dragon's Den so we can have some half decent 'businertainment' on TV (and do a follow up to the start ups from the first Dragons Den series so we know how they fared...)
