Not that long ago I asked about multi chanel tools in general. I am still having a look at them all and seeing if any would be actually suitable.
Just wondered if anyone uses store advisor / SA premium and what they though of it.
What are the costs involved.
In fact if people could tell me the costs of any of these tools it would be appreciated.
Thanks Dave

i was thinking about it last year. its very expensive and i haggled them down massively but then i still decided against it.
i think once up and running and you know ur way around there system it will make ur life easier if you have a lot of channels through which u sell.
but it is quite expensive and not yet worth it for me.
if you do go ahead though-haggle them hard. they will break!

Don't touch Channel Advisor with a very long barge pole!
They sold me the system, £500 upfront, £300 a month plus 1% turnover. Sounded great but told them I didn't sell on Ebay and they I wanted it for multi website use and amazon. It turned out the whole system is really built for ebay use the website and amazon part is very limited in process. When I questioned this I was tol I could sign up to the premium webstore which would be able to do all the things for me, the normal one was sold for me to do. Was going to cost £1000's more to do this! Just to move my original stores over which I had already paid £1000's for anyway. I then found out that their customer service was awful, one guy was going to phone me back and didn't hear anything for over a week and that was my account manager!
In the process of taking them to court to get my money back so from me I would not advise it and if you search on the net about them you will see alot of this talk, recent post on Tamebay about them with two other people like me who commented on the same sort of story.
In the end I took on a member of staff to do the job of channel advisor and its worked really well for us instead!

Agreed. We use it for eBay, but wouldn't dream of using it to power our main web sites.

I have read similar views to yours on other forums, particularly their customer response. Might have to rule them out and look at others still not sure tho.

Well it could of just been me, but there do seem to be alot of people out there who have had problems.
What I would say is try it for yourself, say you want to do it but your not signing a contract until you try it out first for a couple of months, if they don't want to play ball then rule them out
