The AXLR8 Charity Triathlon is now in it's 6th year and has raised over £50000 for charity. This year's event sees ( June 14th 2009) all race profits are being split between Cancer Research UK and the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance.
The event is publicised widely throughout the Thames Valley on most of the intranets and internet sites of running clubs, tri clubs, Times Top 500 companies etc. So it is a great way to promote your business.
We desperately need drinks for the competitors at the end of the race so If anyone would like to donate them please contact me either via this page or www.axlr8.co.uk/triathlon (http://www.axlr8.co.uk/triathlon)

We would also welcome any freebies for the competitors goody bags.:)

Hi, AXLR8 organise a community event for charity - a sprint Triathlon - every year at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire.
2011 will be the 8th year with over £90,000 raised for Cancer Research UK, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Naomi House Childrens Hospice and other worthy causes. It is an entirely charity and community driven event with 30 commercial sponsors and 85 volunteers giving up time, money and resources to make sure every penny raised goes to the charities. (OK, we have not found anyone to give us free event insurance or man an ambulance for a day free of charge or engrave the medals free. One day we will find someone to cover those costs!)

We need some one who wants to sponsor the drinks, please. Also, if you want to join other commercial sponsors providing prizes or goodybag contents, please let me know.
If you would like more information, please see our website at axlr8.co.uk/triathlon.

Thanks
